Students choose sides as protests continue over loss of extracurricular activities

OTTAWA — Hundreds of students gathered at locations across the city Wednesday to voice their continued discontent with the loss of their extracurricular activities due to disagreements between the teachers’ unions and the province. Roughly 250 high school students gathered over the lunch hour at Premier Dalton McGuinty’s constituency office, where teachers had protested previously.
