有谁知道beet怎么吃?能做咸菜吗?

I usually eat beet two ways.
1)beet soup
beet cut to small bits, put it water bring to boil, add dill (herb) and little salt, done.
Not to many people's taste. But I like this simple soup, because the beet itself is very sweet.
2)sweet ans sour
Cut beet to thin slice put in larg amount at sugar, leave it overnight, add rice vinegar(Japanese one), enjoy.

Beet could be in place of raddish in many dishes, I could see it would do well in kimchi. But the key is that you don't cook it for very long time.
 
同事给我吃过她家种的yellow beet, 她是放oven里烤的。
 
紫菜头小时候经常吃,那年代甜丝丝的就是好东西。现在全家没人吃,炒了2次肉丝紫菜头就我一人吃,没意思早放弃了。
 
beet 中文叫做甜菜, 有很高的铁质, 可以煮着吃,也可以烤着吃,也可以淹成酸咸菜, 还可以在淹白萝卜时将切片的甜菜放入,白萝卜就成了漂亮的浅紫色。好吃又好看!!
 
它营养丰富,印度人切丝加咖力炒着吃,很好吃.
 
beet 在oven里烤了以后,切成切片面包厚薄的片,涂上Goat Cheese,是一个非常好吃的开胃小菜。
 
学习来了,还没买过beet呢。
 
俺都是切了块生吃的,貌似有的外国人当午饭带着吃呢
