自己在隔壁论坛呆了几天提问,只有楼主回答我的问题。百思不得其解,苦闷啊。楼主不该到处出击,让我脱离主战场。现在陈述我的看法。
1. 楼主在完工后没有及时付款。至少在帖子里没有否认这一点。甚至连没有争议的部分也没付(如刷漆款)。个人认为这是楼主的不对。应该付清工程款。把争议拿到第三方(消费者协会或法庭)去仲裁。
My wife told him to pay but he refused to accept because I wanted to hire other contractors to install the hardwood floor because he changed the schedule from time to time.
He was very angry and told me it's unfair to give him the painting only because it's cheap ($2,300 + HST). So I changed my idea of switching to different contractors and sticked with "eHome Renovation".
2. 对有争议的部分(如地板损伤),益家的回复只有结论和看法,如 “你所谓的我给你造成damage都是bullshit。”,没有提供进一步的证据。而楼主对地板损伤的陈述也不甚清晰。到公共论坛来是寻求大家的支持的。几张照片就能说明问题。 我认为其他公司的估价没有照片有力。如果从照片能看出明显的损伤,那么我想肯定有相当一部分人会认为拒付款事出有因。楼主一度承诺上传照片。不知为何放弃。
After the first day of hardwood installation, I argued with "eHome Renovation" and told him not come back the second day.
I couldn't believe that the professional could make the basic errors even I could point them out. Then eHome Renovation promised me to delivery the better service in the following work. I told him that I would check their work piece by piece.
However the second day work was still bad. Later I had to buy one special tool ($100) and spent two days to fix the disaligned issue of seven boards for continuing to install the tiles in the kitch area. The different company estimated the price $600 for it But I didn't take it because I don't like the bridge idea at all and it will cost me extra money.
"eHome Renovation" just walked away and thought that I couldn't continue the whole renovation project without them.
3. 许多回帖支持益家,我相信是从自身的经历或口碑的得出的。这没有问题。问题是装修方在此装修工程中有没有让顾客有不满意的地方。请注意满意不满意有一个度,这个度有一个合理的范围。许多回帖对楼主颇有微词。但就事论事,楼主这次事件中毕竟是个顾客。所以,对第二个问题的回答(到底有没有损伤和程度)至关重要。请把这个问题和第一个问题(未付款)分开来。
4. 抛开此事件不说,在论坛里平等对话至关重要。对任何事情,在未知真相之前最好提出问题,让双方回答。猜测或情绪化地攻击任何一方都无济于事。当然,你要情绪宣泄,我无话可说。楼主在开始发帖时没有把握好。用词和情绪使我难以接受。但在以后的回帖中态度是平和的,特别是在有人挑衅时。我是相信多数人的看法,益家总的来说是不错的装修公司。但在支持益家的回帖中,极少数回帖的口气和态度,可能让人感觉适得其反。至少我是这样认为的。
