你以为加拿大的商家或生意人很在意自己客户的数量吗?

如果说在意
他们在意的是能为有品客户服务,或者说为优质客户服务,而把劣质客户记录在黑名单里,尽量避免此类服务,因为----犯不上----这三个字全世界人民都懂。

加拿大大部分商家对优质客户都是并不太在意你来不来,爱来不来,不来,正好歇会儿,更何况是品低客户。

刘勇倒霉不是没选对地板,而是倒霉在没选对服务对象, 或者是干脆就没有选客户的概念, 不过你给他上了一课,也好,省着以后还蛮干:D:D:D

Anyway, mechanic lien is invalid as soon as the full amount is paid. Its purpose is to secure the payment. In fact, the contractor should notify me before registering mechanic lien, otherwise it's invalid already.

The lawyer helped the contractor filing the lien based on the contractor's oral statements, and notarized whatever the contract said are true.

LZ几天前已经付清了,Lien已经撤销了。现在好像是LZ说要诉刘勇活没干好。

不清楚LZ说的White Community是什么意思?他家的Lien可以代表White Community?又在威胁人了,如果倒过来,Conract有拿钱不干活,不完工的记录会对他很不利,有人欠账不付工钱,难道只有忍着,无权讨公道?

Please understand what's mechanic lien first. The contractors with the record of putting the mechanic lien to the property will fail before the homeowners do the precheck. It's similar to the background check before landing one job offer.

If you want to be the victim of mechanic lien, there is nothing to stop you.

It depends how much the lien is. But even the small amount of lien will bring down the homeowners the credit score. In the end, the homeowners will pay more for higher interesting rate.

For example, I could get the loan at 2.5% for 4 year fixing rate now, but I will get the higher rate like 9% if it will take long time to get rid of lien.

It's not worthy to take legal action for a few thousands dollar.

It's not just "eHome Renovation", as I heard that the white contractors with eight records of putting the mechanic lien to different properties couldn't find the job at all, I know there are many homeowners to complain the contractors and finally they are punished by the construction professionals.

I could be fooled once but not twice. My case is just small.

If you are the homeowners to have one big project to hire the contractors, it's better to prepare everything in place to prevent the same thing to happen. The receipt, the insurance and the gurantee are just wastes.

The smart homeowners is always to learn how to protect themselves.

1.楼主如果付了一分钱,他应该能拿出在AUG.1左右eHome Renovation 开的收据;eHome Renovation 的工人可以作证,左邻右舍可以作证(在他家装修)。

2.楼主欠钱卖房。这个mechanic lien就是保护CONTRACTOR的,防止不良OWNER欠钱跑路。

3.eHome Renovation也是第一次碰到这事儿,一开始也不知道怎么办,后来咨询律师才知道可以这样保护自己。不良客户不付钱,可工人工资还得照发啊。

4.eHome Renovation在碰到楼主不付帐的情况下,并没有在论坛上发帖公布楼主信息,更没有威胁恐吓。
