More Centretown parks just a dream, councillor says

The promise of new parks in Centretown is wishful thinking, says downtown Councillor Diane Holmes, no matter how prominently they’re played in a major plan for redeveloping downtown over a generation. The problem: The plan itself, which calls for so many more tall buildings that it’s already sent land values through the roof before city council has even approved it.
