I called budget and confirmed our reservation, the new price is:

$296/8 days including tax, provided that our Credit card can waive the Lost/damage insurance.

$507/ 8days including tax, -----------------------------cannot-------------------------------

I used my platinum credit card to reserve it, but the problem is my card is from the US but not Canada, so any of you guys has a Canadian gold or platinum credit card?

I'm still dreaming to be a 大款. At the same time, I'm planing to go to there too. 6 or us will drive to the 4 province including NFL. Our plan is 2 weeks. Based on our estimate, it's cost $40-50/person for one way from NS to NL.
And in your trip, you just drive through NB and NS.

So, you spend lots of time and money just for road. It's why I suggest you fly.

I agree with you to the extend of choice. The flight from here to NFL costs more than $400/person, that's why we choose to save more money and spend a little more time and energy.

I called my credit card company just now, my card can waive the lost/damage insurance everywhere except two countries not including Canada.
However, the second driver should also have a credit card probably at least gold.

行程安排：
下面是费用估算：
租车(MiniVan)： 8天 $350 +/- $25
汽油（12KM／Litre）：$250 +/- $25 以往返4500公里，油价$0.68/Litre计算
自家的车可能没问题， 租来的恐怕玄。只开4500Km恐怕回不到家。

汽车渡海(往返NL和NS):$150 Roundtrip

你没有看明白，前面之所以有一次小计，是完全算车的花销如何摊到个人的。后面才是每个人坐船的费用，因为人和车是分开买票的。上面我已经给出了轮渡公司的网址，你可以自己去看，思考一下再说也不迟。

我刚从东海岸回来。汽油在那边6毛8每升可买不来。我看平均算每升7毛3或7毛4差不多。PEI的汽油最便宜。没去NEWFOUNDLAND，不知道那边的油价。

有些东西只能估算，而且我也写下了大致的误差，所以应该也差不太远吧。

4500*0.735/12=275

可是我也觉得你没算人头岁。NL to NS, onw way, it's $72.75 for one way from NS to NL. So round trip is around $150 (your number). For passenger, it's $25/adult. So for one way, it's 72.75/6+25=37.125/person.

I'll be glad if I'm wrong. It will save me money too.

大佬！我算的都是Roundtrip，150／6＋50＝75／person, 有什么不同呢？

对了，还有你说的路程问题。从这到North Sydney，Mapquest显示的Driving Direction是1600 公里，往返就是3200公里，当然选择Cabottrail会增加200公里渡海不是车开的，所以不算。NFL上一共要往返1000公里左右，这样是4200公里，如果坐船去PEI则会节省回程中的4到500公里；如果开去则已经包括在回程内了。PEI上面不会去太多地方，初步打算是集中在Charlottetown附近，时间也不允许，粗粗估算大概200公里，这样算下来4500公里左右，完全合理。当然到时如果有什么新的Idea，去了一些新的地方则有可能会超过这个数，还有迷路了兜圈子也会超过这个数；可是还有因为时间问题少去了地方，低于这个数的可能。
