SH-REN are very selfish and look down every people who are from other city, even Beijing and Guangzhuo.

I don't like SH-REN at all. I do hope they can change their bad habbits...

Don't say "WE". Your Shanghainess are outstanding to Chinese from other areas. I had stayed in Shanghai from 1987 to 1997. I was called "Wai De Ren" all the time when I spoke Mandarin in Shanghai.

My mother-in-law still called me this when she visited us in Vancouver last year. Actually she is "Wai De Ren" too because she moved to Shanghai from Chang Zhou when she was 16 years old. I know most SH-Rens' parents or grandparents moved from somewhere earlier. Why do they look down people from other place. Specially now I have become Canadian. In her mouth I am still "Wai De Ren".

No, she is Mother-in-law. Not my mother.

She did noting here, only asked us to give her money. She thought we are rich in Canada. Our family almost get apart because of her. I cannot forget her words always with " our Sh-rens". You know how to say it in Shanghai tone and her face going up. Too aproud. In the day she left, she took away my husband with her for whole month. Left two children with me struggling with my busy job and spending Christmas and new year. I hate them. Next life, never be married with Sh-Ren again!
