City council: Water strategy approved; advance poll dates set

Council has approved the first phase of its new water strategy. The plan will help promote drinking water, reduce beach closings, balance urban development with stewardship, and better adapt to extreme weather and climate change, as well as see the city collaborate with an array of government agencies, the City of Gatineau and private landowners.
