A sizeable marijuana grow-op was shut down in Kazabazua, Que., north of Gatineau Tuesday, according to the Sûreté du Québec.
More than 600 cannabis plants, more than nine kilos of loose marijuana buds and equipment relating to cannabis production were seized by the SQ from a single-family home on route 15.
Police are investigating and expect to make a number of arrests relating to the grow-op.
Police say information from the public was instrumental in their investigation so far. Anyone with information about the production or trafficking of drugs in the area is encouraged to contact the SQ at 1-800-659-4264.
