A 27-year-old Gatineau man is facing two charges of impaired driving after a single-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon on boulevard Allumettières, near the boulevard Saint-Raymond exit, according to Gatineau police.
The man, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was driving westbound when he struck a security barrier in the Saint-Raymond area. He was arrested shortly after.
Police allege the man’s blood alcohol content was three times the legal limit. His licence is expected to be suspended for 90 days and the vehicle is expected to be impounded for 30 days. He also received a ticket for roughly $450.
