Ottawa – Starting July 7, 2014, three streets in the Glen Cain neighbourhood of Kanata will be closed while work continues to increase the capacity of storm sewers in the area as part of Phase 3 of the West End Flooding Solutions project:
The road will remain open to local traffic access.
This work is being done as part of a $1.4 million project, to construct a new storm sewer on Oriole Avenue from Beaton Park to Abbeyhill Drive. This project will increase storm water capacity in the system and reduce the risk of flooding. Work is expected to continue until the end of September.

- Oriole Avenue will be closed from Oakburn Road to Abbeyhill Drive,
- Paddock Way will be closed from Sherwood Street to Post Road,
- Post Road will be closed from Paddock Way to Old Colony Road.
