Five more charges have been laid in the case of a 29-year-old man who is accused of of harassing more than 20 women online under the name Scotty Toppers, Ottawa police said Wednesday.
Nicholas Decarlo, 29, of Ottawa is facing charges of four new counts of harassment by repeated communication with a person and one count of mischief to data.
Decarlo was arrested in July after police raided a home in Orléans.
Previous charges against Decarlo include criminal harassment, extortion, drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property, possession of break and enter tools, theft, and mischief to data.
