我叫Jason Kelly. 我恳请你，你的朋友, 和邻居在今年的市政府换届选举中投我一票!
我是Gloucester-South Nepean的居民，我和太太选择在本区區安居乐业，撫養子女。我太太，Doris Kwok ，祖籍廣東，正在迎接我们第三个孩子的到来！作为一名丈夫，父亲和商人，我对社区服务充满热情。我有丰富的经历和经验，充满信心能在市政府代表你们利益，成为我们社区的喉舌，并成为你们与市政府相互沟通的坚定有效桥梁。
在过去的许多年里，我一直参加和支持华人社区的发展和各项重大活动。以渥太华旅游局董事会成员的身份，我参加了两次渥太华市长的访华贸易代表团致力于促进中加两国的旅游和商业的发展。我也曾是渥太华龙舟节的董事会成员。作为北京和渥太华姊妹城市项目渥太华唐人街牌楼筹款委员会的共同主席，我和负责建设的专业团队及许多华人朋友们共同努力，按时按计划完成了这个项目，此牌楼也获得2010年北美最佳项目奖。

在我們這個區裡，我和市議員Steve Desroches一起，在华人社区的帮助下，把两个石狮子从中国迎进水龙公园。此外，保护里多河（Rideau River）自然生態也是我重要的義務工作之一。
我们的城市正面临许多挑战，我们要确保在加快建设公共交通的同时，保证道路建设。拥挤的交通不仅给我们家庭生活带来压力，也会增加商业的运作成本。作为一名市议员，我承诺会把解决Gloucester-South Nepean的交通堵塞問題擺在首位。
我们家园需要建造在一个安全稳定的环境里。家长和孩子们应该可以无所畏惧地在公园和其他的公共设施玩耍和开展活动。作为一名市议员，我承诺会让警察增加巡视我们社区的频率并寻找改善问题多发地区的办法。

My name is Jason Kelly and I am asking you to join your friends and neighbors and vote for me in the upcoming municipal election.
I am a father and businessman with a passion for service to our community. My wife, Doris Kwok, and I are expecting my third child this January and we chose Gloucester-South Nepean to live and raise our family.
I am the one candidate running in Gloucester South Nepean with the experience to be your strong effective voice at City Hall.
Over the last few years I have been deeply involved in supporting the Chinese community in Ottawa, I served as a board member of Ottawa Tourism and have participated in 2 of Mayor Watson’s trade missions to Beijing, I have served on the board of the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival and was Co-Chair of Fundraising on the Chinatown Gateway Project promoting the rich cultural heritage of Chinese Canadians in the city of Ottawa.

Locally I worked with Councillor Steve Desroches to bring the stone lions to Water Dragon Park Project in Barrhaven along with my efforts to protect the natural beauty of the Rideau River as the volunteer chair of the Rideau Valley Conservation Foundation.
Our city faces a number of challenges over the next few years, we must ensure that we continue to expand our transit service but not at the expense of our road networks. Congestion robs us time from our families and adds time and cost to running our businesses. As Councillor I will ensure that solving congestion issues in Gloucester South Nepean are a priority.

Our communities should be safe and secure for our families. Our parents should be able to walk to the parks without fear and our kids need safe accessible activities. As councilor I will ensure that our police will patrol our neighborhoods more frequently and develop strategies to address problem areas.
I am a businessman; I was the managing partner of the Monterey Inn for nearly 12 years. I know how to manage a budget and the pressures facing business owners in our city. While I don’t think the city should be run like a business, we need people with business experience around the council table to ask the tough questions and make sure we get value for the tax dollars we pay. I will be that voice for all residents of Gloucester-South Nepean.
