Hydro Ottawa is investigating the cause of a blackout affecting 3,856 homes in the Bank Street and Leitrim Road area.
According to the utility the cause of the blackout is still unknown, but crews are working to identify the problem and restore electricity as soon as possible.
Hydro Ottawa said, early estimates suggest that power should be restored by 1 p.m.
