Ottawa was chosen to host the second-best nation in women’s soccer for the opening matches of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in June 2015
Group B teams will play their first two matches in Ottawa. That means Germany will play Côte d’Ivoire and Norway will play Thailand at TD Place Stadium on June 7.
Then, Germany will play Norway and Cote d’Ivoire will play Thailand on June 11 in Ottawa.
Each group will then change cities, as Ottawa will host a game in Group E and in Group F on June 17. France will play Mexico and Spain will play Korea Republic.
