Ottawa police are searching for a suspect following a robbery at a King Edward Avenue store Thursday night in which a shot was fired.
Police said the suspect entered a store in the 100 block of the King Edward between Guigues Avenue and Bolton Street at about 8:30 p.m Thursday.
The suspect fired one shot during the robbery.
Police would provide no further details on the shooting, but said there were no injuries.
The suspect was described as black, six feet in his early 20s. He was wearing a black hoodie and a black scarf covering his lower face.
The guns and gangs unit is investigating the case.
