Quick work by firefighters was credited for containing a fire that broke out Friday in a home at 346 Kenwood Ave. in the Westboro area.
Firefighters received the call at 11:07 a.m. and were met with strong smoke conditions. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to one room on the main floor.
Police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene but there were no injuries.
There was estimate of the cost or damages or the fire’s cause at this time.
