Calypso Water Park was found guilty Monday of six of 11 charges it faced for safety violations on equipment at the Limoges-area theme park.
Justice of the Peace Julie Lauzon found Calypso guilty on charges involving the park’s Steamer and Bobsleigh rides. The charges were laid under the Ontario’s Technical Standards and Safety Act.
Calypso was originally charged with 20 violations, but prosecutors later withdrew nine of those. Calypso pleaded not guilty on all counts.
