A 24-year-old man is dead after being injured by equipment at a family farm Friday morning in Pakenham, west of Ottawa.
Paramedics and Lanark County OPP officers were called to the farm, 10 minutes north of Almonte in the town of Mississippi Mills, at 8:45 a.m.
Police said they found the man injured in a piece of farm equipment.
The man was airlifted to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Ontario provincial police are investigating the incident along with the Ministry of Labour and the Ontario coroner’s office.
Police did not release the man’s name.
