Police are investigating the death of a man found in Major’s Hill Park early Sunday evening.
Several hours after the man was found, apparently under a tree in the downtown park behind the Chateau Laurier, an Ottawa police spokesperson said the death is being treated as “suspicious” until it can be confirmed otherwise.
But it was still unclear whether foul play was involved, he said.
According to witnesses, paramedics appeared unable to revive the man and when police arrived, they cordoned off the area.
