Car dealer can be so frustrating!

Sorry my Chinese input is not working so all English.
So I thought I have done my homework for the car shopping but I still got myself into a frustrating situation. After long research I decided to go for mazda cx-5 2016. I got my data from Unhaggle and thought I got a great deal after getting everything agreed with the sales manager at Mazda dealer in Ottawa. At this point my guard was down and I got handed over the bill of sales. The numbers look correct so i signed. Then I realized one big problem: Mazda in Aug was running a promotion of $500 rebate for financing. I assumed it's still there but it's not on my bill of sales. I talked to the sales manager and he told me the promotion is gone.
I went back to Mazda website and it said "you may be eligible for $500 for the financing bonus. Contact dealer for details". I then called other dealers in Ottawa and both of them confirmed the financing bonus is still good now. I called mazda Canada and they said they would call my dealer to discuss as they weren't sure either. I then sent an email (with a different name) to my dealer and the response is the rebate is still good!

I started to feel the sales manager may feel I took out too much of his profit and intentionally tried to screw me over for the rebate. what do you guys suggest I do? the bill has been signed (my bad and I should have checked for the 500 dollars before signing.)

My lesson learned is when you go talk to dealer, it's a war and you have to be at full alert 200%. These guys can be so vicious.

Take it easy. $500 is nothing for a car deal, not worth getting emotional. It maybe already included in your deal, just not appears to be the way you expected on paper. Have some faith in others, including dealers, and you will have a better life.
 
客观的说, 楼主要是死其白咧的要, 最终还是有希望能要到这500元的。为什么要劝楼主放弃呢? 主要是觉得喽主已经生气了, 这人一生气, 事情就大大的不妙了, 甚至会有比较严重的后果。咱中国人以和为重, 凡事让三分, 没有错的。
 
bill of sales没写的话,就算了吧,买完离手,别惦记着给自己填堵,回头你不是还要去做service嘛,抬头不见低头见的
 
上次买车时,也差点被他们蒙过去应有的DISCOUNT。他们有的销售,真是无语。
 
大家说的对。我主要是觉得做了半天功课,讲了半天价,给他们这么一骗,基本讲价都是白费。记得我签字之前还提醒自己要注意rebate,结果一讲话就忘了。真是糊涂!算了,吃一堑长一智。

想明白就好了, 其实你的价格已经包括了这 五百块, 只不过,这个钱是被你砍价砍掉的,而不是以Rebate 方式给你的。
价格满意就可以了。。。

有了这个心态, 可以继续试试要, 实在不给就算了, 买车是个高兴的事, 别伤和气。
 
这种事情,一定要提前自己写到纸上,或者记到notes里,回头一项一项check。

太对了。多少次把事情搞砸,就是没有check list!
我好奇car dealer的sales staff培训是不是教一些怎样糊弄客户的技巧。。。
 
如果bill上没有写是rebate,你也许可以写信给总公司?
