Police say a 30-year-old man was seriously injured when he was attacked by two “pitbull-type” dogs in Gatineau Friday morning.
The man was walking eastbound on Booth Street toward St. Joseph Boulevard at around 11 a.m. when he was attacked by what police believe were a pitbull and a pitbull mix.
Police said the dogs ran out of the house when the owner opened to front door.
The man was taken to hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
The owner of the dogs could face a fines totalling almost $500.
