Gatineau police have ordered the evacuation of all three campuses of the Cégep de l’Outaouais as well as the Heritage College campus in Gatineau after a bomb threat was made early Tuesday morning.
Police wouldn’t specify what the threat entailed. They issued an order to evacuate all of the college locations shortly after receiving a call around 10:15 a.m.
Gatineau police tweeted shortly before noon that the evacuations proceeded “calmly” and buses were at the scene to handle the crowds.
An investigation continues with police, bomb squad and emergency crews at the scene.
