A 37-year-old cyclist is in serious but stable condition in hospital after being struck by a car late Sunday afternoon.
Ottawa paramedics were called to Montreal Road near Highway 174 about 4:30 p.m. in response to reports of a man on a bike being hit by a driver who apparently didn’t see him.
The man was treated for an open scalp head injury, neck injuries and blood loss. He was taken to The Ottawa Hospital Trauma Centre for treatment.
Ottawa police are investigating.
