Unattended cooking at a two-storey centretown home Thursday afternoon resulted in a fire in the kitchen of a Centretown home and has left one person displaced from the home.
When firefighters arrived to the home at 342 Booth St., smoke was visible from outside the home.
The fire was quickly extinguished; no one was injured.
The fire caused about $80,000 in damage.
