Two young men face a number of charges, including one count of attempted murder for one of the suspects, following an Oct. 30 assault in the 2000 block of Alta Vista Drive that left two teenagers with what were considered life-threatening stab wounds.
The suspects were arrested Friday, police said.
Police said in a release Saturday that one of the victims remains in hospital in stable condition while the second has been released.
The victims and the suspects did not apparently know each other, according to the release.
Ahmed Jama, 18, of Ottawa, was to appear in court Saturday on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, conspiracy, weapons possession and two counts of assault with a weapon.
Hashem Khraibah, 19, of Ottawa appeared in court Friday on two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, as well as weapons possession and conspiracy charges.
