A “small fire” at Regina Street Elementary School in the Lincoln Heights area prompted a brief evacuation Friday morning.
Firefighters were called shortly after 10 a.m. for reports of smoke at the school.
Children and staff were cleared out of the building while firefighters worked.
Students were back in class by about 10:30 a.m.
There were no injuries.
