Ottawa’s New Year’s baby was delivered as the hour, minute and second hands gathered at the top of the clock on Thursday night/Friday morning, the Queensway Carleton Hospital announced Friday.
The as-yet unnamed girl from the “Hebert family” weighed in at a healthy eight pounds, three ounces, following a C-section.
The family has declined media requests for interviews, but will release a photo and further information through the hospital’s communications department, expected sometime Friday afternoon.
