Slick road conditions are cited as a possible explanation for a rollover on the Queensway early Wednesday in which a man had to be extricated from his vehicle.
First responders were called to the Parkdale Avenue exit of Highway 417 shortly before 2 a.m. where the the vehicle was on its side.
The driver was conscious but he was unable to get out.
Fire crews were able to quickly take out the front windshield and extricate the man. He suffered minor injuries.
Police reported “very slippery conditions” with several fender-benders, but no major accidents across the capital Wednesday morning following the overnight snowfall.
