An 87-year-old woman who was struck on Monday by an OC Transpo bus near the Carlingwood Mall has died from her injuries, Ottawa police said.
The woman was crossing Carling Avenue at around 10 a.m. when she was hit by the double-decker bus at the shopping centre’s main entrance.
She was crossing at the road when she was struck by a bus turning east out of the shopping centre parking lot where buses do regular pickups.
Police said an investigation into the collision is ongoing and no charges have been laid.
