A young woman escaped a car rollover with only very minor injuries after a single vehicle accident in Gatineau early Sunday morning.
The Gatineau resident, 21, was the only person in the car when it hit a patch of black ice while heading west on La Vérendrye Boulevard at La France Road, eventually hitting the median and flipping, said Gatineau police.
Paremadics assessed her injuries and determined she did not need to go to hospital.
Both La Vérendrey and La France roads were closed briefly but have since been opened to traffic.
