One Ottawa woman no longer has to wonder what she would do if she had $1 million.
Violet Jackson putting her plans together after winning the top prize on an Instant Extreme Millions scratch ticket.
“I scratched the ticket at the store (and) at first glance I thought I won $1,000. When the retailer validated my ticket and OLG called the store to speak with me, I knew it was a bigger prize,” Jackson said in a release.
“Winning the lottery feels surreal,” said Jackson, who collected her winnings in Toronto. “I never thought I would be coming to the prize centre to collect a big prize.”
Jackson plans to invest some of her winnings and on sharing the rest with her children.
“I would also like to take my family on a trip to a warm destination,” said Jackson.
OLG said the winning ticket was purchased at a Riverside Drive store.
