Fiena Dykstra sat amidst 6,980 pairs of baby booties as part of a Pro Life rally on Parliament Hill on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. The grandmother from B.C. started the campaign about six months ago – getting other pro-lifers across the country to knit booties – which they hoped to present to parliamentarians. She says each pair of booties represents 15 unborn children yearly in Canada. Those booties left over from the protest will go to pregnancy care centres.
