Nobody was injured in an industrial fire near Ottawa’s airport on Tuesday morning, officials say.
The fire broke out at a woodworking business at 3326 Limebank Road, said Danielle Cardinal, public information officer for Ottawa fire.
Firefighters received reports of yellow and black smoke coming from the building at around 10:44 a.m.
Chemicals were present where the fire started, Cardinal said.
The southbound lane of Limebank Road from River Road is closed to traffic and firefighters are still combating the blaze.
