Quebec police investigate 'suspicious' death of woman found near Grenville

The Süreté du Québec is investigating what is being described as the suspicious death of a woman found Friday night in Grenville, across the Ottawa River from Hawkesbury, about 110 kilometres east of Ottawa.

Police were called to Scotch Road at about 7 p.m. and found the body in an isolated wooded area.

Investigators did not say whether they’ve identified the victim.

An autopsy is to be performed in Montreal next week.
