A man has died after he was on the water on the Rideau Lakes system near Perth on Friday afternoon.
The man was reported to have been on a watercraft before his death on the southern end of the waterway system in Lanark County. Several people attempted to rescue him.
Ontario Provincial Police confirmed the deceased is not a child, though his precise age, identity and place were not made public.
OPP are investigating the incident.
