Police are investigating the discovery of a body near the parking lot of the Experimental Farm Saturday morning.
A large number of police vehicles were on the scene by about 9:30 a.m.
At about 10:30 a.m. Ottawa police tweeted: “The body of deceased male was located near parking lot of experimental farm. Police investigation is ongoing. Farm activities not affected.”
For the time being, west division detectives have taken over the case.
It is a busy day at the farm, with the popular Baconpalooza festival and other activities.
