Provincial police have closed a section of Christie Lake Road west of Perth after one person was killed in a crash.
Police say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The collision occurred about 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Traffic is being detoured onto Cameron Sideroad west of the accident and Glen Tay Road to the east, but police are also asking drivers to avoid the area.
Christie Lake Road is a little south of Highway 7 about 90 kilometres south of Ottawa.
