Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating a suspect in a residential break-in Aug. 24.
Detectives say the man broke into an apartment in the 900 block of Bronson Avenue between 2 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. and stole a credit card that was used later in the day in a retail transaction.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, 25-30 years old, five feet seven inches to five feet eight inches (170 cm – 173 cm) tall with an average build, and light brown wavy hair.
At the time of the purchase, the suspect was wearing a red Ottawa Senators T-shirt, dark grey/green cargo shorts and black running shoes.
