The Ottawa police confirmed late Friday night that a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound to the leg had walked into the Montfort Hospital earlier.
Police responded to a call from the hospital at about 8:45 p.m.
The east division released no other details, except to say the man was not co-operating with police.
