Gatineau police have arrested two teenaged boys in connection with a parking-lot fight in which a 63-year-old man was badly beaten.
On the afternoon of Oct. 11, officers found the injured man lying on the ground, unconscious, in the SmartCentre parking complex on Plateau Boulevard in the Hull sector of Gatineau.
There had been a fight between two men, and the other man had run away, officers were told. The victim was transferred to the Ottawa Hospital and is still there.
On Tuesday police said they have arrested two boys aged 15 and 16, who can’t be named because of their ages.
One is being charged with assault and the other was released but may later be charged as an accessory after the fact.
