Ottawa firefighters were busy on Tuesday morning trying to free a dog that was stuck stuck on a rooftop.
According to officials with the fire service, calls came in reporting a dog somehow made its way onto the Sorento Street home’s roof around 9 a.m.
Officials haven’t determined how the dog got on the roof.
Responders managed to rescue the animal at about 9:40 a.m.
Firefighters brought special ladders and other equipment to the home, near the intersection of Strandherd Drive and Woodroofe Avenue.
The street largely consists of townhomes.
