Homeowner sustains serious burns to face, upper body

A man is in hospital after suffering serious burns to his face and upper body while inside his Nepean home Monday night.

Ottawa Fire Services was notified by paramedics of a fire-related injury on Cheryl Road just after 7 p.m. Paramedics treated the man and transported him to the hospital.
