City police have laid robbery charges in three bank heists in as many days after nabbing suspects in a taxi cab getaway car.

On Monday at about 7:25 p.m., two men in disguises went into a bank on Montreal Road near Blair Road, handed over a note demanding cash and fled with an undisclosed sum.

The same thing happened at another Montreal Road bank, this time near St. Laurent Boulevard, on Tuesday at about 9:50 a.m.

But after a pair of suspects escaped with their loot into a waiting taxi after a third robbery at a bank on Pretoria Avenue, patrol officers were able to locate the vehicle on the Airport Parkway. Three suspects fled from the vehicle then were arrested nearby without incident.

Adam Maynard, 38, and Keith Sikala, 53, are jointly charged with three counts each of robbery and conspiracy. Each is also charged with three counts of wearing a disguise. Maynard is also charged with drug possession and breach of recognizance.

Kaneesha Naveau, 25, is charged with robbery and conspiracy in connection with Wednesday’s incident.

All three were scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
