A kitchen fire displaced one person and caused an estimated $50,000 in damage to a residence in Gatineau, the city’s fire service reported Sunday evening.
Firefighters were called to a two-storey structure at 285 rue Berri, near the intersection with Montclair, at 6:44 p.m. and had the blaze under control by 7:20, a media release said.
No injuries were reported.
