Gatineau police say a cyclist is fighting for his life after ending up in the Ottawa River Wednesday morning.
The helmeted victim was found in the frigid water at about 7:30 a.m. when a passerby noticed him after spotting the bike on the path behind the Université du Québec en Outaouais and called 911.
Police are working on both identifying the cyclist and figuring out what happened.
