The body of Alexander Miller, who went missing over the Canada Day weekend, has been found, Ottawa police said Wednesday evening.

No foul play was suspected, police said.

Miller, 29, was last seen on July 1 in the area of Beechwood Avenue. Police released a photo of Miller but had no other details about the case at the time.

After Miller went missing, his family, friends and volunteers gathered at Rockcliffe Park Pavilion on July 3 to split up into groups and search for him.

Police had said his family was very concerned about Miller because he did not have his medication with him.

Volunteer search groups searched around the Rockcliffe, New Edinborough, Lindenlea and Manor Park areas.

Last Thursday, police put out another call for more help to find Miller.
