East-end Gatineau fire forces closure of Hwy 148

A fire in Gatineau’s east end prompted officials to close Highway 148 in both directions from rue de la Forteresse to rue Georges on Monday evening.

Police said a 911 call for a fire in Masson-Angers came in at about 8 p.m.

Gatineau fire said the highway was expected to reopen later Monday evening.
