Fire broke out on the roof of a building at the Queensway Carleton Hospital Monday afternoon but firefighters were able to keep it from spreading.
There are no injuries, and the cause is under investigation.
A fire alarm went off about 4:45 p.m., Ottawa fire said. They haven’t said where on the hospital grounds the fire broke out, but the first crew on the scene reported seeing flames and called for a second alarm.
Police closed both road entrances to the hospital.
