First responders tackle pair of crashes on Mitch Owens Road

Police and firefighters were tackling two separate collisions on Mitch Owens Road Wednesday morning and are warning motorists to avoid the area.

Police reported at 9:10 a.m. that two vehicles collided at the Bank Street intersection.

Fire crews were already tackling a crash at Limebank Road with the extrication of one person from a vehicle underway.


Collision at Mitch Owens and Bank St. 2 vehicles involved. Emergency crews attending and will update. Please avoid area. #otttraffic

It was another messy morning on area roads with incidents including at ditched vehicle at Strandherd and Kennevale drives, a stalled bus blocking a lane on on the westbound Highway 417 at Island Park and a collision that closed a lane of the westbound Highway 174 at Montreal Road.
